February in Red

Hello lovelies, The beginning of the year also brings the start of a new semester of college *freaks out internally*

1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 / 7

This February, I feel Red. It’s the total opposite of the current weather in here, we have not seen the sun in over 6 weeks, it’s just been rain and wind and then more rain. That’s the kind of weather that makes me want to stay home with a good book and a blanket and sit next to the fireplace, sipping tea all day. But February is the month of love for those of you who are lucky enough to have someone to spend Valentine’s day with, so I guess red is not a totally inappropriate color.

What are your February plans?

February Overview:

This month’s goals: focusing on my health, keep my yoga routine, go out more with my friends, study harder.

TV shows I’m watching: The Flash, The Big Bang Theory (I know, I know, but a girl has to find out what is going to happen to all the characters), Black Mirror, This Is Us.

What I’m Reading: Le Choeur des Femmes – Martin Wickler

Fashion Items I’m in love with: My Red Beret, my new favorite black high-heeled boots, my brown leather pencil skirt (that I can’t link as I bought it in a vintage store).

My February song: Bad Boy – Red Velvet, this is my new anthem. The aesthetics in the music video are terrific and the song compliments each of their voices well. It’s a smooth tune with more RnB types of vibes.

  • Who’s Red Velvet? They’re a K-pop girl group (don’t roll your eyes) under SM Entertainment, the same entertainment company as the legendary Girl’s Generation. They debuted in 2014 with the song Happiness, and there are currently five members: Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, Joy, and Yeri. They recently came back Bad Boy and I’m very grateful for it. Red Velvet is starting 2018 strong and I’m wishing them the best for the rest of the year.

What will your February be like? Please leave a comment!

Loads of Red Kisses – Naomy

For your perusing, at times confusing, slightly amusing: Introducing Me.

First, let me apologize for the reference if anyone wants to know who should be given credit for this marvelous title: it is none other than the wonderful Nick Jonas himself since this line was taken directly from the song ‘Introducing Me’.

Now to get to the subject at hand, my name is Naomy, I’m a 20 years old college student and well I’ve been juggling with the idea of blogging for a while now, and since the second decade of my life has just started and 2018 is beginning as well, I figured I might as well finally take the jump. I’m a sucker for travel and yoga and enjoy make-up despite not being so good at it.

With this blog I hope to, in-time, build a community and get to share with you all many interesting and fun conversations and debates. And what I hope for my readers is that you too, will find in my blog an uplifting, safe, hopefully sometimes fun,  space to share your point of views and opinions.

So welcome, make yourself a cup of tea, and sit comfortably, this should be a fun ride.
